TQ - Bring only what you need

There is a scene in the movies Spaceballs where the Hero, LoneStar, tells the princess to bring only what you need. Given the serious *snicker nature of the movie she takes her industrial strength hair dryer which looks to be the size of a small tricycle. That's what triggered today's questions.

1. You've just found out that you won a weekend get away. Besides the typical clothing, what would you bring for fun? Books, hand held games, Kindle, etc etc?

2. You decide to down size house wise. What are you willing to part with?

3. What item will you absolutely not give up and it will go with you to your new place?

4. Out of all the pcs/ laptops etc you've owned, what is the one system you could never part with?

––1.) Probably a fiction and non–fiction book (at least one each, maybe more), a camera or three, lenses and accessories for the said camera(s), etc.

2.) Not much. I guess furniture. But NOT MY BOOKS!

3.) My library.

4.) Tough question. I sort of wish I hadn't parted with my first IBM compatible. I'm very attached to my old TI 99/4A, which I still have. But, maybe my trusty PowerBook G4, which is still running strong after five and a half years and has gone many miles with me.

––1. Bible, hiking gear, camera.

2. Furniture for sure. Some of my seldom used clothing, and my giant stash of old Linux CDs, salvaged computer stuff, quite a stack of old papers.

3. A core collection of books I use.

4. That will change as they come and go, but right now I could still get by on my Inspiron 4100.

2. Furniture, ornaments, clutter...
